**Important - Read First**
Protests should be filed when a competitor violates the Sporting Code.
Infractions include but are not limited to:
- Competition issues
- Voice or Text chat
- Forum posts
- Retaliation or intentional wrecking
- Blocking
- Tire heating
- Fake and/or inappropriate names
Protests must be filed from the UI or iRacingWeb (https://members-ng.iracing.com).
Emails or private messages to staff members or support@iracing.com are not considered protests and will not be reviewed.
You must fill out the online form completely and please provide as much detail as possible when describing the violation.
All protests must be filed within 7 days of the infraction or violation.
There is a 30-minute cool-down period after the session before you can file a protest.
Full details regarding protests can be found in Section 9 of the Sporting Code.
The Sporting Code can also be found on the UI as shown in the photo above.
Step 1:
Review your results at the end of the race. Click View Results from the UI click Results:
Step 2:
Select the violation that you believe took place
Step 3:
Fully and completely fill out the protest form including the attachment of relevant replays.
REPLAY FILES ARE NOT OPTIONAL AND YOUR PROTEST WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT THEM.
Also, make sure that the replay file is not too large (the limit is 30 MB) and clip the replay file to show only the violation.
You can find more information on how to save replays by logging into members.iracing.com and going to How To Videos...Saving and Uploading Replays.
