iRacing uses a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to make downloads available to members. 


The No Preference option will assign you to our preferred CDN when downloading.


If you are making this change due to downloads getting stuck or not starting, delete the contents of the \downloads\updates folder before restarting the download.


By default, this location is:


C:\Program Files (x86)\iRacing\downloads\updates


To change your CDN preference, follow the steps below.


iRacing UI & iRacing Web

  1. Log in to the UI or iRacing Web at (https://members-ng.iracing.com)
  2. Click on the Settings icon in the lower left corner of the sidebar.
  3. Select the Network section at the top of the screen.
  4. Choose a provider from the drop-down for Content Delivery Network.
