Background
In real world racing involving cars with multiple dry tire compounds, the sanctioning bodies put specific requirements on how tires must be selected through the race. This is done to ensure race strategy does not get too stale. In iRacing we implement these rules as options for hosted races and enable them in Official sessions mimicking series that have these rules.

Tire Compound Change Rule
Requirement:
Drivers must complete a racing lap on at least two different tire compounds during the race.
Punishment:
Drivers that do not meet this requirement and finish the race are disqualified.
Prerequisites:
- All cars in the session must have multiple dry tire compounds available.
- The track must be classified as a Road course.

Start on Qualifying Tire Compound Rule
Requirement:
Drivers must start the race on the same type of tire compound they used to set their qualifying lap.
Punishment:
Drivers are not allowed to break this rule. Attempting to start the race on an unallowed tire will force the user on to the allowed tire.

- All cars in the session must have multiple dry tire compounds available.
